SGT University, Gurugram participated as an Academic Partner in a conference on “The Blockchain Technology- A Revolution to Transform Society” organised by Cyber research and Innovation Society (CRIS) at India International Centre on 12th May, 18. The conference has Technical and Legal sessions separately where in Technical session the issues on Types of Blockchain and functions of Crypto currencies were discussed followed by Legal session in which eminent speakers share their experiences in legal challenges and regulatory framework for admissibility of electronic evidences in the court of law.
The token of appreciation was presented by Dr Rajiv Khanna (Dean, Faculty of Law, SGT University) on behalf of our university. The faculty members of the university, Dr Leena Bhardwaj(Forensic Science),Dr Archana Chaudhary(Environmental Science),Anchal Mittal (Law), Dr Chitra Kaul, Ms Vimmi Malhotra, , Ms Neha Gahlot and Ms Satnam(CSE,FET) joined this common platform along with students of M.Sc & B.Sc-Forensic Science. Students got an opportunity to interact with experts and two PG students (Forensic science) got their placement in the CRIS.
