Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Chauhan joined SGT University as an Assistant Professor in March 2017. He has about 8 years of research experience. His research experience include working towards his PhD at the University of Maryland, and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has three publications in international journals. His teaching experience include working as a teaching assistant at Physics Department at the University of Maryland for two-and-a-half years. Before joining SGT, he also wroked in industry for one-and-a-half years. He has also presented posters and given talks in international conferences.
His interest is in using statistical mechanics and computational tools to study condensed matter. He in currently studying properties of nanoparticles using computer simulations. In the past, he worked on stochastic biochemical reaction systems as a post-doctoral researcher, and on the dynamics of disease spread during his PhD.
