He has completed his PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, west Bengal, India. His area of expertise is Rough Set Theory, Time series Forecasting, Multi-criteria decision-making, Optimization theory, Statistics and Operation Research. He has published various research papers and served as a peer reviewer of various reputed journals. He has guided PG dissertations and currently supervising PhD thesis.
