About
Dr. Sneh Lata has been allied with SGT University, in the Faculty of Science, as an associate Professor, since Nov. 2020. She is M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Gurunanak Deb University, Amritsar, and did her PhD from the Panjab University, Chandigarh (a central university) as a CSIR fellow. Dr Lata, is JRF (CSIR), NET (UGC), SLET (HP) and GATE qualified, and has fourteen years of work experience (Teaching-2+ years and Industrial-11+ years). With her credential, she has many international publications and patents. Being an active member of SGT University, Dr Lata has regularly participated in several national and international seminars, conferences and workshops. She has earned a membership in the American Chemical Society. She is a hyperactive Research personnel and earned two govt. Research Fundings as a Co-PI [BIRAC-2020 (SBIRI) and CORE-2023 (SERB)]. Her enduring research areas are-medicinal chemistry (ULK1, ROCK1, PROTAC and antimicrobials), the Mechanistic study of metalation reactions in heterocyclic compounds, new process development for APIs and their impurities, development of novel catalysts, and carbon quantum dots.
